「やすぎ懐古館　一風亭」 島根県安来市

やすぎ懐古館一風亭は、

安来で有数の呉服店と雑貨商を営んでいた

旧鎌田邸を安来市が改装し2005年8月に街の賑わいの拠点として

開設した生涯学習施設。イベントの開催、学生への学習スペースの貸出、茶室の貸出なども行っている。臥龍松のある中庭・枯山水がある。庭の状態は決して良くないが、細縄をセーターのようにザックリと編み込んだ筵を張った天井など茶室の意匠が凝っており近くに行ったら見る価値は十分ある。

"Yasugi Kaikokan Ipputei" Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture

Yasugi Kaikokan Ipputei is a lifelong learning facility that was opened in August 2005 by Yasugi City as a base for the town's lively activities after being renovated from the former Kamata residence, which was one of the leading kimono and general goods stores in Yasugi. It also holds events, rents out study space to students, and rents out tea rooms. There is a courtyard with a Garyu pine tree and a dry landscape garden. The garden is not in good condition, but the design of the tea room is elaborate, with a ceiling covered with straw mats made of thin ropes roughly woven like a sweater, so it is well worth a visit if you get close.
