「魚彩さくら亭」/ 大分県佐伯市

モダンな建物の日本料理店。客席の大きなガラス窓越しに眺めることを考えて作られた池泉廻遊式庭園がある。池の背後の一段高くなった場所にちょっとした広場があり野点なども催される。さらにその奥にある滝石組から流れ出した小川が池にそそぐ。池には鯉が泳ぎ、池畔の木杭に見立てた石杭が印象的。佐伯の庭巡りの際にランチ利用で立ち寄るのに最適なレストラン。客は食後に店の正面左手の門から庭に入り自由に回遊することが出来ます。場所は観光交流会館のすぐ裏。

"Gyosai Sakuratei" / Saiki City, Oita Prefecture

A Japanese restaurant in a modern building. It has a stroll-style garden with a pond, which was designed to be viewed through the large glass windows of the dining area. Behind the pond, there is a small square on a raised area where outdoor tea ceremonies are held. Further back, a stream flows into the pond, starting from a waterfall rock formation. Carp swim in the pond, and the stone stakes that resemble wooden stakes on the pond's shore are impressive. This is the perfect restaurant to stop by for lunch when touring Saiki's gardens. After the meal, customers can enter the garden through the gate on the front left of the restaurant and wander around freely. The restaurant is located just behind the Tourist Exchange Hall.
