「旧吉原家住宅」 福岡県大川市

旧吉原家住宅は、柳河藩小保町の大庄屋・吉原家の居宅です。大規模で建築材に楠や北山杉をふんだんに用い、欄間彫刻など細部の意匠に優れ、建築年代も確実なものとして九州でも特に重要な民家として、平成11（1999）年国指定重要文化財に指定されました。縁側に沿って小さな庭園があります。

"Former Yoshihara Family Residence" Okawa City, Fukuoka Prefecture

The former Yoshihara family residence is the residence of the Yoshihara family, the headman of the Yanagawa domain. It is large, uses camphor and Kitayama cedar as building materials, has excellent design details such as ranma carvings, and is a particularly important private residence in Kyushu, with a confirmed construction date, and was designated a National Important Cultural Property in 1999. There is a small garden along the veranda.
