「英彦山神宮 旅殿庭園」 福岡県田川郡

英彦山神宮の参道の石段が始まる場所にあるに銅鳥居 重文 江戸前期 寛永14（1637）をくぐってすぐ左手に杉の巨木がありその奥に旅殿があり現在も英彦山神宮神幸祭の神興行幸の御旅所として使用されています。建物前面が祭礼奉納の斎庭となっていて、その横に1700年頃につくられた浅い池泉庭園があり、瓢型池泉の中央に石橋が架けられています。

"Hikosan Jingu Ryoden Garden" Tagawa District, Fukuoka Prefecture

At the beginning of the stone steps of the approach to Hikosan Jingu Shrine, there is a copper torii gate (Important Cultural Property, early Edo period, 1637), and immediately to the left there is a giant cedar tree, and behind it is a guesthouse, which is still used as a shrine for the Shinko Festival of Hikosan Jingu Shrine. The front of the building is a sacred garden for festival offerings, and next to it is a shallow pond garden created around 1700, with a stone bridge in the center of the gourd-shaped pond.
