鎌田醸造所「みそ・しょうゆ蔵」の入口左手に大正時代の庭があります。限られたスペースを活かし庭を広く見せるために飛び石を手前から順に間が詰まっていくように配置して遠近感を表現したり、庭の奥では肩がはった形跡を配置することで山の険しさを表現したり様々な工夫が見られる庭です。

"Kamata soy sauce brewery" Hitoyoshi City, Kumamoto Prefecture

To the left of the entrance to the Kamata Brewery's Miso and Soy Sauce Warehouse is a small garden from the Taisho period. Making use of the limited space, the garden is designed to look spacious by creating a sense of perspective with stepping stones spaced closer together as they go further away, and standing stones with bulging shoulders are placed at the back of the garden to express the ruggedness of the mountains.
