「龍雲寺」 島根県浜田市

龍雲寺の創建は永徳２年（１３８２）、当時の三隅城の城主三隅信兼が無端祖環を招いて開山し三隅家代々の菩提寺としたのが始まりと伝えられる歴史ある寺院で、現在では禅の道場として多くの人々が参詣しています。この寺の庫裏の裏手に江戸時代中期作庭と伝わる小さな池泉庭園があります。また境内全体は日本庭園として整備され池や遣水がつくられ、また多くのモミジや刈り込み植栽で溢れています。

"Ryuunji Temple" Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture

Ryuunji Temple was founded in 1382, when Misumi Nobukane, the lord of Misumi Castle at the time, invited Mudan Sokan to open the temple and make it the family temple of the Misumi clan. It is a historic temple, and today many people visit it as a Zen training center. Behind the temple's kuri , there is a small pond garden that is said to have been created in the mid-Edo period. The entire grounds have been developed as a Japanese garden, with ponds and streams, and are filled with maples and trimmed plants.
