麓（ふもと）公園は、知覧武家屋敷庭園群の西側。門を入って麓川に架かる木製の橋を渡ったところにあります。公園全体が日本庭園として設えられていて水車や東屋があり知覧武家屋敷庭園群の見学のスタート前か見学後に利用するのに適しています。また公園内には「ふもと横丁」という複数の飲食店が入居した建物がありイタリアンなどの食事をとることもできます。真夏の暑い日にはかき氷なども食べられますので是非利用してください。

Fumoto Park is on the west side of the Chiran Samurai Gardens. After entering the gate and crossing the wooden bridge over the Fumoto River, you will find it. The entire park is set up as a Japanese garden, with a waterwheel and gazebo, making it a great place to take a break while touring the Chiran Samurai Gardens. There is also a building called "Fumoto Yokocho" in the park that houses several restaurants, where you can eat Italian food and other dishes. On hot summer days, you can also enjoy shaved ice, so please be sure to check it out.
